Introduction to My Certificate in College Teaching I completed the Graduate Certification in College Teaching through Michigan State University, a professional teaching credential designed to support graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in developing excellence as college instructors. This certificate program, offered collaboratively by the MSU Graduate School and academic colleges, helped me build core teaching competencies, including developing effective disciplinary teaching strategies, creating inclusive learning environments, incorporating instructional technology, understanding university contexts, and assessing student learning. As part of the program, I engaged in workshops, coursework, and a mentored teaching experience, culminating in a thoughtfully curated e-portfolio that reflects my evolving practice and prepares me for faculty roles.
